你不知道的陳若琳

Diving queen Chen Ruo Lin, who made a splash in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, has bid farewell to the arena. What kind of diving path has she taken? Today, let's walk into the world of陳若琳.

小時候的夢想

陳若琳 was born in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. Her father is a gymnastics coach and her mother is a swimming coach. Therefore, sports are already a part of her life.

At the age of 5, she began to practice gymnastics, following in her father's footsteps. But she wasn't very good at it. Once, her father took her to the swimming pool and asked her to swim. "I'll give you 3 minutes. If 你 can’t make it, 你 will be my student.”

Her father's words really stimulated her. She thought to herself, "I'm not willing to be a burden to my father." So she started swimming desperately. As a result, in only 2 minutes, she swam halfway across the 50-meter pool.

Seeing this, her father decided to let her try diving. Maybe this is her talent.

痛苦的訓練

From swimming to diving, 陳若琳 has experienced more arduous training. In order to exercise her courage, her coach asked her to jump from a 10-meter platform in her first training session.

Although her heart was pounding, she still jumped down without hesitation. After jumping, she realized that it was not as scary as she thought. This gave her great confidence, and she fell in love with diving.

In order to improve her performance, she would practice jumping from a platform into a pool with only 2.2 meters of water. This is a very dangerous move. If not done well, it is very likely to cause injury.

But she is not afraid of hard work. She believes that only hard work will live up to her life and the expectations of her parents, coaches and teammates.

豐碩的成果

陳若琳 has achieved remarkable achievements in her sports career. She has won 5 Olympic gold medals, 1 Olympic silver medal and 1 Olympic bronze medal, which is her best achievement.

In addition, she has also won 9 world championships and 16 world championships in the World Diving Championships. It can be said that she is a role model for Chinese diving and even the world diving community.

In the era of "Dream Team" Guo Jingjing and Wu Minxia, she still showed her youthful demeanor, showing her talent.

退役後的生活

After retiring from the military, 陳若琳 did not leave diving, but chose to become a coach, continuing to contribute to Chinese diving.

At present, she is the deputy director of the Diving Department of the Jiangsu Sports Bureau. She is often seen guiding young divers in training, hoping to cultivate more talents for the Chinese diving team.

陳若琳, a diving queen who created countless brilliance in diving, is not only a role model for Chinese athletes, but also an example of Chinese athletes.

Her never-say-die spirit and persistence are worthy of our learning.
