20-year-old Lin Zhinuan suffered from a rare disease and eventually passed away on November 24, 2021.
After undergoing surgery on September 17, 2021, Lin was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma which is a rare type of cancer that affects the bones or soft tissue around them.

During her battle with cancer, Lin regularly shared on her social media about her journey through treatment, expressing gratitude for the support she received from her family and friends.

In one of her posts, she shared a photo of herself holding a bouquet of white roses, and in the caption, she wrote: "Thank you for all the love and support. I'm so grateful to have such an amazing support system."

Lin's story and fighting spirit moved many people, and stars such as Jay Chou, Mayday, and Jolin Tsai expressed their concern and sent her messages of support.

On November 24, 2021, Lin's battle with cancer came to an end. Her family announced her passing on social media, writing: "Our beloved Zhinuan has left this world peacefully and returned to the embrace of the Lord."

"We are heartbroken by her departure, but we are comforted by the memories of her beautiful life and her courageous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her."
