獎門人!

Remember the former host of "獎門人",曾志偉(Eric Tsang)? Despite retiring from the hosting position, his legacy remains as one of the most iconic figures in the world of Hong Kong entertainment. I can still recall the first time I met him; his charisma and wit left an unforgettable impression on me. I've always been a huge admirer of his work, and I couldn't help but smile when he told me a few jokes. He really is a natural entertainer!
And let's not forget about the games! One of my favorites was "激氣樽", where contestants had to keep their mouths on a bottle and answer questions while another contestant tried to distract them by doing funny things. It was always a blast to watch, especially when the contestants started to get competitive. And who could forget the classic "估歌仔"? This was where contestants had to guess the name of a song based on a few notes played by a band. I always thought I was pretty good at this game, but I never managed to get it right.
"獎門人" was more than just a game show. It was a cultural phenomenon that brought people together. It was a chance to laugh, have fun, and forget about the stresses of everyday life. I think that's why it's still so popular today. It's a reminder of simpler times, when all we had to worry about was winning a free trip to Thailand.
So, if you're ever feeling nostalgic for the golden age of Hong Kong television, just put on an episode of "獎門人". It's guaranteed to make you smile. And who knows, you might even learn a thing or two about Cantonese pop culture.
Here are a few of my favorite memories from "獎門人":
  • The time a contestant got so excited that they jumped out of their chair and started dancing on the table.
  • The time a contestant couldn't remember the name of a song and just started singing "啦啦啦".
  • The time 曾志偉(Eric Tsang) told a joke that made the entire audience groan.
I'm sure you have your own fond memories of "獎門人". So, the next time you're feeling down, just put on an episode and let the good times roll.
