Tony Benedetto from Woodrow Wilson was reported as the new head football trainer at Plano East on Wednesday.

It will be a major move forward, as he will be approached to pivot a striving program at the state's second-biggest school.

Benedetto, who is in his third year as athletic organizer and lead trainer at Woodrow Wilson, will supplant Joey McCullough.

McCullough is resigning toward the finish of the school year subsequent to assembling a record of 28-54 of every eight seasons at a Class 6A school that currently has an enlistment of 5,514. Plano East is falling off a 2-8 season and is 3-26 throughout the most recent three years.
