San Francisco Giants' Bench Coach Makes US Major League Baseball History
History was made Tuesday in U.S. Significant League Baseball when Alyssa Nakken turned into the main lady to mentor on the field during a customary season game.
Nakken, an associate mentor with the San Francisco Giants, was called by chief (lead trainer) Gabe Kapler in the third inning of their game against the meeting San Diego Padres to supplant a respectable starting point mentor Antoan Richardson after he was catapulted. Nakken was welcomed with a handshake by Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer as she had her spot on the field. 토토사이트 검증
The 31-year-old Nakken has been a mentor with the Giants since January 2020, in the wake of interning with the establishment back in 2014. She was a respectable starting point mentor during a presentation game soon thereafter, and has done the occupation during spring preparing games.
"It's been amazing," she said in a post-game meeting. "This gathering in here is truly unique. To go out there and be prepared to step in for that second was an easy decision, this is my work."
The Giants proceeded to post a 13-2 defeat of the Padres.

Nakken's set of experiences making occasion happened only days after Rachel Balkovec turned into the primary lady to deal with a U.S. Proficient ball club when she appeared with the Tampa Tarpons, a small time offshoot of the New York Yankees. The two achievements came in front of the 75th commemoration of Jackie Robinson's April 15,1947 presentation with the then-Brooklyn Dodgers, becoming Major League Baseball's first Black player in the advanced period.
