Place of Birth: Osnabruck, Germany

Short Bio: Peter Van Daan was the only child of Mr. Van Daan and Mrs. Van Daan. He lived in germany with his family until 1937, before moving to Amsterdam to escape the Nazi party persuction. The Van Daans had been trying to emigrate to the United States, and when the notices for Jews to return back to Germany to work in labor camps for frequently, they couldn't wait no more.They decided to join the Franks in the annex in July 1942.

Education: Peter didn't have that much education growing up, but in his early life he went to a jewish school called "Jewish Lyceum".

Concentration Camp: Peter and his family was taken to Westerbork camp, then got transfered to another camp called Auschwitz concentration camp.                                                                                   

Peter Van Daan Outcome: Due to the harsh conditions of Peter's concentration camp, his death was by exhaustion of something calles "The Death March" on May 5,1945 at the age of 18.

Interesting Facts: Peter Van Daan was the only boy in the Annex. Peter was borned into a religion without a choice. Peter Van Daan died at the young at of 18 years old. He died from exhaustion due to harsh weather conditions and bad treatments from guards.
