To avoid online fraud you should:

• Keep your card with you at all times

• Dont throw receipts away, or if you do rip them up first so know one can steal your card details

• Cover up your pin when you are in shops

• Dont tell anyone your pin

• If you have cash then pay with cash instead of your card

• Keep your card somewhere safe so you dont lose it

To get someones credit card details you could:

• skim

• phishing

• Card not present fraud

• Trojan

• Steal their card
• create a bogus website

Ways to protect yourself:

• Always keep your card with you

• Dont tell anyone your pin

• Dont open emails from unknown senders

• only go on websites that you know

Ways to avoid Trojans:

• Don't open emails from unknown senders
• Make sure if you get anti virus software you get it from a known site
• Dont enter any personal information online, so dont use online banking and online shoppping
• Online go on websites you trust
• avoiding malicious sites
• Update anti virus software
