Two firefighters and one civilian sustained injuries while battling the Airport Fire, highlighting the dangerous conditions they faced.
As night fell, the fire continued to burn, and containment remained low. The blaze cast an eerie orange glow over the night sky, visible for miles around. The smoke from the fire also posed a significant hazard, prompting air quality alerts for the region.
