AJ Griffin, the son of former NBA player Adrian Griffin, is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Atlanta Hawks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils.

As a freshman at Duke, Griffin averaged 10.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. He was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team and helped lead the Blue Devils to the NCAA Elite Eight.
Griffin declared for the 2022 NBA Draft after his freshman season. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the 16th overall pick.
