Akima Waschulewski Washes Windows with Water

Akima Waschulewski got a shiny new squeegee for her birthday. She couldn't wait to try it out. She grabbed a bucket of water and went to her front door.
It had been a while since Akima last washed her windows. She was surprised at how dirty they were. She dipped her squeegee into the water and started to scrub.
Akima was so focused on scrubbing that she didn't notice the sunlight reflecting off the window. The beam of light hit her right in the eye.
"Ouch!" she cried.
Akima rubbed her eye and looked at the window. To her surprise, the window was now sparkling clean. She had never seen it so clear before.
Akima was amazed. She dipped her squeegee back into the water and started to scrub again. She was so excited to see how clean her windows would get.
She scrubbed and scrubbed until her arm was tired. When she was done, she looked at the window again.
It was still dirty.
"What the... I washed it," she said.
Akima dipped her squeegee back into the water and started to scrub again. She scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed until her arm was about to fall off.
When she was finally done, she looked at the window.
It was still dirty.
"This is impossible!" she yelled. "I'm never going to get these windows clean."
Akima sat down on the ground and started to cry. She was so frustrated. She didn't understand why she couldn't get the windows clean.
Just then, she heard a voice.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
Akima looked up and saw her friend, Bob.
"What's wrong?" Bob asked. "You look like you're about to cry."
"I can't get my windows clean," Akima said.
"Let me see," Bob said.
Bob got down on his knees and looked at the window. He dipped his finger in the water and rubbed it on the glass.
"The water is dirty," he said.
"I know," Akima said.
"Well, there's your problem," Bob said. "You can't wash a window with dirty water."
Akima stood up and grabbed a new bucket of water. She dipped her squeegee into the clean water and started to scrub.
This time, the window cleaned right up.
Akima was so happy. She thanked Akima for his help.
"No problem," Bob said. "I'm always happy to help a friend."
Akima and Bob went inside and had a cup of coffee. They talked and laughed and had a great time.
Later that day, Akima looked out her window. She smiled when she saw how clean they were. She was so glad that Bob had helped her.
She knew that she would never forget the day that she washed her windows with dirty water.
