I'll never forget the day Aldn`d Roleto came to our little town. He was a traveling salesman, and he had a flat tire on his car. He pulled into our gas station, and I went out to help him.
Aldn`d was a big man, with a booming voice and a hearty laugh. He told me he was on his way to a big sales meeting, and he couldn't be late. I told him not to worry, I'd get him fixed up in no time.
I started to change the tire, but I quickly realized that I didn't have the right tools. I ran back to the gas station to get them, but when I came back, Aldn`d was gone.
I was confused. Where could he have gone? I looked around, but I couldn't see him anywhere. I was about to give up when I heard a loud noise coming from the road.
I ran to the road and saw Aldn`d driving his car down the street. He had a big smile on his face, and he was waving at me.
"Hey!" I yelled. "I still have your flat tire!"
"Don't worry about it!" Aldn`d yelled back. "I'll be back for it later!"
And with that, he was gone.
I never saw Aldn`d again, but I never forgot him either. He was the only person I ever met who could change a tire while driving his car.
A few weeks later, I was at the grocery store when I saw Aldn`d again. He was in the checkout line, buying a bunch of groceries.
"Hey!" I said. "It's me, from the gas station!"
Aldn`d looked up and smiled.
"Oh, hey!" he said. "I remember you. You're the guy who changed my tire."
"Yeah," I said. "I was wondering, how did you do that?"
Aldn`d laughed.
"Well," he said. "I put the car in neutral, and I used my feet to push it down the street.
I laughed too.
"That's amazing," I said.
"Yeah," Aldn`d said. "It's a little tricky, but it works."
I shook Aldn`d's hand.
"Well," I said. "It was nice to see you again."
"It was nice to see you too," Aldn`d said. "And thanks again for the help."
Aldn`d went back to his shopping, and I went back to mine.
I never saw Aldn`d again, but I never forgot him either. He was a kind and funny man, and he always had a story to tell.
I hope that one day I'll see Aldn`d again. I'd love to hear more of his stories.
