All-Ireland semi finals 2024: The road to Croke Park!




It's nearly that time of the year again, and GAA fans all over Ireland can't wait for the All-Ireland semi finals in 2024.
The GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-finals 2024 will be played on the weekend of July 20th/21st 2024, with the hurling semi-finals taking place the following weekend.
The football semi-finals will see Galway take on Monaghan, while Kerry will face Dublin. The hurling semi-finals will see Kilkenny take on Cork, while Limerick will face Waterford.
These are sure to be two cracking weekends of action, and with the All-Ireland finals just around the corner, the excitement is building!
Here's a closer look at each of the semi-finals:
Football semi-finals:
Galway v Monaghan: Galway will be hoping to reach the All-Ireland final for the first time since 2001 when they take on Monaghan in the first semi-final. Monaghan have been in impressive form this year, and they will be looking to cause an upset.
Kerry v Dublin: This is a repeat of last year's All-Ireland final, and it's sure to be another close encounter. Kerry are the reigning champions, but Dublin will be looking to get their revenge.
Hurling semi-finals:
Kilkenny v Cork: Kilkenny are the most successful team in the history of hurling, and they will be looking to add to their tally of 36 All-Ireland titles when they take on Cork in the first semi-final. Cork have been in good form this year, and they will be looking to cause an upset.
Limerick v Waterford: Limerick are the reigning All-Ireland champions, and they will be looking to reach the final again when they take on Waterford in the second semi-final. Waterford have been in impressive form this year, and they will be looking to make a statement.
