Amanda Thirsk

I’m Amanda Thirsk, and I’m a stay-at-home mom of two. I’ve been married to my husband for 10 years, and we live in a small town in the Midwest. I love spending time with my family, and I’m passionate about helping others.
I’ve been volunteering at my local food bank for the past five years. I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference a little bit of help can make in the lives of people who are struggling. I’m always looking for ways to give back to my community, and I’m grateful that I can do that through my work at the food bank.
Volunteering has also been a great way for me to meet new people and make friends. I’ve met so many wonderful people through my work at the food bank, and I’m so grateful for the friendships I’ve made.
I’m always looking for new ways to help others, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for me. I know that I’ll continue to volunteer, and I hope that I can make a difference in the lives of others.
Here are a few things I’ve learned from my experience volunteering at the food bank:
  • There are always people who need help.
  • A little bit of help can make a big difference.
  • It’s important to give back to your community.
  • Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
  • Helping others can make you feel good about yourself.
If you’re interested in volunteering, I encourage you to do so. It’s a great way to make a difference in your community and in the lives of others.
