James Madison Jr.

Born March 16, 1751 in King George County, VA.

James Madison was the oldest of ten chidren.

He gradated from the College of New Jersy in 1771.

Before becoming a delegate Madison considerd ministry.

In 1780 he was asked to be a delegte and participate in the Constitutioal Convention. Some of his highlights during the convention was, he had written an essay about the incompleteness of the Articles of Confederation. Also, he took the floor more than 150 times and was rarely absent from the convention. He was the only delegate who kept a secret journal of what was discussed in the meetings
