Ana Barbuzano was a little girl with a very wild imagination. She loved to read fairy tales and pretend that she was a princess or a mermaid. She would spend hours playing in the forest behind her house, pretending to be a brave knight or a daring explorer.
One day, Ana Barbuzano was playing in the forest when she saw a strange creature. It was a small, furry creature with big eyes and a long tail. Ana Barbuzano had never seen anything like it before.
“Hello,” said Ana Barbuzano. “What are you?”
“I am a pixie,” said the creature. “My name is Thistle.”
Ana Barbuzano was amazed. She had never met a pixie before. She asked Thistle all sorts of questions about pixie life. Thistle told her about the pixie village where she lived, and about the magic that pixies could do.
Ana Barbuzano and Thistle quickly became friends. They played together every day, and Ana Barbuzano learned all about the pixie world. She learned how to fly, how to make magic potions, and how to talk to animals.
One day, Ana Barbuzano and Thistle were playing in the forest when they heard a noise. They looked up and saw a group of trolls approaching. The trolls were big and mean, and they were carrying axes.
“What are you doing here, little girl?” asked one of the trolls.
“I’m playing with my friend Thistle,” said Ana Barbuzano.
“Well, you’re not welcome here,” said the troll. “This is our forest, and we don’t like humans.”
The trolls started to move towards Ana Barbuzano and Thistle. Ana Barbuzano was scared, but Thistle wasn’t afraid. She stepped in front of Ana Barbuzano and said,
“Leave her alone. She’s my friend.”
The trolls laughed. “What are you going to do about it, little pixie?” asked one of the trolls.
Thistle didn’t say anything. She just raised her hands, and a cloud of pixie dust surrounded her. The trolls started to cough and sneeze. Their eyes watered, and their noses ran.
Ana Barbuzano was amazed. She had never seen anything like it before. Thistle was using her pixie magic to fight the trolls!
The trolls tried to fight back, but they were no match for Thistle’s magic. She blinded them with pixie dust, and then she made them fall asleep. When the trolls were all asleep, Thistle and Ana Barbuzano ran away.
Ana Barbuzano and Thistle continued to play together in the forest every day. They became even closer friends, and they had many more adventures together. Ana Barbuzano learned a lot from Thistle, and she always treasured her friendship with the little pixie.
