August 26

I remeber the day in perfect detail. I was 15, and I had just gotten my driver's license. I was so excited to be able to drive myself around, and I couldn't wait to go on my first road trip.

I decided to take a ride to the beach since my grandma lived closse by. It was a beautiful day, and the sun was shining. I turned up the music and rolled down the windows, and I felt like I was on top of the world.

As I was driving along the highway, I saw a sign for a rest stop. I decided to pull over and take a break. I got out of the car and stretched my legs, and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean.

As I was walking back to my car, I saw a group of people gathered around a man who was lying on the ground. I went over to see what was going on, and I learned that the man had collapsed and was not breathing.

I didn't know what to do. I had never seen anything like this before. But then I remembered that I had taken a CPR class a few months earlier. I took a deep breath and started performing CPR on the man.

I didn't know if I was doing it right, but I kept going. After a few minutes, the man started breathing again. The people around me started clapping and cheering, and I felt like a hero.

The man was taken to the hospital, and I never saw him again. But I will never forget that day. It was the day that I learned that I could make a difference in the world.

I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to learn CPR. It's a skill that everyone should have. You never know when you might need to save a life.
