Bahar
Ahhh, bahar... the season of new beginnings, blossoming flowers, and the sweet sound of birdsong. It's a time when the earth awakens from its long winter slumber, and everything seems to come to life again.
I love this time of year. The days are getting longer, the sun is shining brighter, and the air is filled with a sense of hope and optimism. It's as if everything is possible in the bahar.
One of my favorite things about this season is the flowers. From the delicate violets that bloom in the forests to the vibrant poppies that dot the fields, there is no shortage of beauty to behold. I love to spend hours wandering through the countryside, admiring the incredible diversity of colors and shapes.
The bahar is also a time for animals to come out of hibernation and begin their search for food. I often see rabbits hopping through the fields, deer grazing in the meadows, and birds flitting from tree to tree. It's always a joy to see these creatures, as they remind me of the interconnectedness of all life.
Of course, the bahar is not without its challenges. The weather can be unpredictable, and there are often storms that roll in unexpectedly. But even these storms have a certain beauty to them. I love to watch the lightning flash across the sky and the thunder rumble in the distance. It's a reminder that even in the most turbulent of times, there is always beauty to be found.
The bahar is a special time of year in Greece. It's a time to celebrate life and all that it has to offer. So get out there and enjoy it! Take a walk in the forest, plant some flowers in your garden, or simply sit back and relax in the sunshine. And don't forget to appreciate the beauty of the bahar.
