Ballon d'Or ranking 2024

The Ballon d'Or ranking for 2024 has been announced, and it's no surprise that Lionel Messi has once again taken the top spot. The Argentine forward has won the award a record seven times, and he shows no signs of slowing down. He scored 45 goals in all competitions for Barcelona last season and lead the team to the La Liga title

Coming in second place is Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker had another incredible season for , scoring 50 goals in all competitions and winning the Bundesliga title. He also led Poland to the quarter-finals of the World Cup

Karim Benzema is third on the list. The French striker played a key role in Real Madrid's Champions League victory, scoring 15 goals in the competition. He also helped Real Madrid win the La Liga title

Kevin De Bruyne is fourth on the list. The Belgian midfielder had another outstanding season for Manchester City, helping the team win the Premier League title. He also led Belgium to the semi-finals of the World Cup

Mohamed Salah is fifth on the list. The Egyptian winger had a great season for Liverpool, scoring 32 goals in all competitions and helping the team win the Champions League and the FA Cup

Rounding out the top 10 are Sadio Mane, Erling Haaland, Luka Modric, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar

The Ballon d'Or ranking is always a hotly contested affair, and this year was no different. Messi is a deserving winner, but there are many other players who could have easily won the award. It's always exciting to see who will come out on top, and the 2024 Ballon d'Or ranking is sure to be no different
