About our Tokyo operations
Our Tokyo offices played an important part in Cantor Fitzgerald’s history, swiftly developing a name for themselves as leaders in the Asian inter-dealer broking market. They took on their present form as BGC Capital Markets (Japan), LLC and BGC Shoken Kaisha Limited when Cantor separated its voice brokerage business to create BGC Partners L.P. in October 2004.
Both branches use the innovative technology developed by BGC’s partner, eSpeed, to guarantee access to the quickest, most efficient trading methods available. eSpeed is now the trading platform most commonly used in the Tokyo US treasury market. With over 13 years of experience in the business BGC’s Tokyo offices can offer their customers unrivalled expertise.
