Bhagiratha Dierking And His Wild Adventure In The Arctics
“There is nothing to worry about,” said Bhagiratha Dierking, “The ice is always this thin.” As Bhagiratha Dierking made his way across the arctic ice caps, he couldn’t help but think to himself what a relaxing and safe vacation this was. He’d just finished reading another one of his favorite books, *How To Shackleton*, where Shackleton himself said, “The ice was always this thin.”
After all, if being on thin ice was a problem, surely Ernest Shackleton, a world famous explorer, would have mentioned it.
“Thin ice,” Bhagiratha Dierking mused to himself, “what a nice way to say death trap.”
As he continued to ski along, his thoughts turned to his dear friend and fellow explorer, Pennywise.
“Pennywise,” Bhagiratha Dierking thought to himself, “What a lucky guy.” Bhagiratha Dierking remembered how Pennywise was able to get out of going to the arctic.
“I’m not going,” Pennywise had said, “I saw this documentary on polar bears once, and let me tell you, they are vicious! And that’s before you get to the cannibalism.”
Bhagiratha Dierking shook his head, Pennywise was such a scaredy cat. Bhagiratha Dierking on the other hand was fearless. He wasn’t afraid of polar bears, or thin ice, or cannibalism. He was Bhagiratha Dierking, and he was made of sterner stuff.
As Bhagiratha Dierking was lost in thought about his courageous nature, he heard a crack beneath his feet. He tried to go around it but there were cracks everywhere.
“Oh dear,” Bhagiratha Dierking thought to himself, “This ice is getting a little thin.” Bhagiratha Dierking could feel the ice starting to give way beneath his feet. He tried to swim to safety, but the water was freezing cold.
“This is it,” he thought. “I’m going to die here.”
Just when Bhagiratha Dierking thought all hope was lost, he saw a polar bear swimming towards him. The polar bear grabbed Bhagiratha Dierking by the scruff of his neck and pulled him out of the water.
“Thank you,” Bhagiratha Dierking said. “You saved my life.”
“No problem,” the polar bear said. “I’m just glad I could help you.”
Bhagiratha Dierking and the polar bear became fast friends. They spent the rest of the day playing together on the ice. Bhagiratha Dierking even learned how to speak polar bear.
“I’m so glad I came to the arctic,” Bhagiratha Dierking said. “It’s been an amazing adventure.”
Bhagiratha Dierking and the polar bear spent the next few days exploring the arctic together. They saw glaciers, icebergs, and even a few more polar bears. Bhagiratha Dierking had never seen anything so beautiful.
“This is the most amazing place I’ve ever been,” Bhagiratha Dierking said. “I’m so glad I got to experience it.”
After a few days, it was time for Bhagiratha Dierking to go home. He said goodbye to his new friend, the polar bear, and promised to visit again soon.
As Bhagiratha Dierking made his way back to civilization, he couldn’t help but think about how much he had changed. He had come to the arctic as a scared and inexperienced explorer. But he was leaving as a confident and experienced adventurer.
“I’m so glad I took this trip,” Bhagiratha Dierking thought to himself. “It’s been the best experience of my life.”
Bhagiratha Dierking went on to become a world famous explorer. He led many expeditions to the arctic, and he even became the first person to ski to the North Pole. But he never forgot his first adventure in the arctic. It was the adventure that changed his life.
And Bhagiratha Dierking lived happily ever after.
