Boots Christmas gift set recall: What you need to know




Boots has urgently recalled a Christmas gift set over "risk of burns" to customers. The retailer is pulling the Radley Cosy Up mug and sock set, which was sold for £20.

Customers who bought the set are being urged to return it to stores immediately for a full refund.

The recall affects sets sold between August 30 and December 6 this year. The product identification barcode can be found on the back of the gift box.

Boots said in a statement: "We are recalling the Radley Cosy Up Ribbed Socks and Ceramic Mug Gift Set due to a potential safety issue.

"The base of the mug may crack and break into pieces when used, posing a risk of burns."

The retailer added: "If you have purchased this product, please return it to your nearest Boots store for a full refund.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
