Brent Burns

I've been a Sharks fan for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, and Evgeni Nabokov lead the team to the playoffs year after year. But there was one player who always stood out to me: Brent Burns.
Burns is a unique player. He's a defenseman, but he's also one of the most dynamic offensive players in the league. He's got a booming shot, and he's not afraid to use it. He's also a great passer, and he can make plays that other players only dream of.

But what makes Burns so special is his personality. He's a funny guy, and he's always up for a good time. He's also a great teammate, and he's always willing to help others.

I remember one time when the Sharks were playing the Kings in the playoffs. The Sharks were down 3-0 in the series, and they were facing elimination. But Burns never gave up. He scored a goal in the third period, and he helped the Sharks come back to win the game.
The Sharks went on to win the series, and they eventually made it to the Stanley Cup Final. Burns was a big part of that success, and he was a fan favorite throughout the playoffs.

I'm so grateful that I've had the chance to watch Brent Burns play for the Sharks. He's a special player, and he's a big part of the reason why I love hockey.
