The Build-To-Order (BTO) flats offered in October 2024 were a highly anticipated event, and they did not disappoint. With a record number of flats being offered across 15 different projects, it was an exciting time for potential homebuyers in Singapore.
As a first-time homebuyer, I was particularly interested in the 2-room flexi flats that were available in 10 of the projects. These flats are designed to be affordable and accessible for singles and young couples, and they come with a range of amenities and features that make them an attractive option.
I decided to apply for one of the 2-room flexi flats in Kallang/Whampoa, which is a neighborhood that I have always liked. The flats were priced at a very reasonable S$220,000, and they came with a balcony, a study, and a storeroom. I was also impressed by the location, which was close to public transportation and a variety of amenities.
I submitted my application online, and I was thrilled when I received an email a few weeks later informing me that I had been successful in my application. I was so excited to finally have my own home, and I couldn't wait to start planning my move.
The process of buying a BTO flat can be long and stressful, but it is also very rewarding. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to purchase a flat in this BTO exercise, and I can't wait to move into my new home.
