Buckeyes Smash Wolverines, Extend Win Streak to 10





It was another dominant performance from the Ohio State women's basketball team on Thursday night, as they took down the Michigan Wolverines 83-55 at the Schottenstein Center. The Buckeyes have now won 10 straight games and improved their record to 17-3 overall and 8-1 in the Big Ten.

Junior guard Jacy Sheldon led the way for Ohio State with 25 points, six rebounds, and three assists. She was joined in double figures by sophomore forward Taylor Mikesell, who had 17 points and seven rebounds, and senior guard Madison Greene, who chipped in with 14 points.

The Buckeyes shot 48.2% from the field and held Michigan to just 36.2% shooting. They also outrebounded the Wolverines 44-29 and forced 15 turnovers.

Ohio State took control of the game early, jumping out to a 13-2 lead in the first quarter. They never looked back, leading by as many as 28 points in the second half.

The Buckeyes return to action on Sunday when they host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Schottenstein Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
