Bushy parkrun

parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5km run (or walk) held every Saturday at 9am in Bushy Park. It's open to all ages and abilities, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned runner. You can register online for free and then just turn up on the day to take part.

Bushy parkrun was the very first parkrun in the world, and it's still one of the most popular, with over 1,000 people taking part each week. The course is a two-lap route around the beautiful Bushy Park, with a mixture of flat and undulating terrain. There's also a junior parkrun for children aged 4-14, which takes place at the same time as the adult event.
