Hunstanton, a small village in West Norfolk, is famous for its spectacular sea vistas. Hunstanton, sometimes known as "Sunny Hunny," was founded in 1846 as an attractive Victorian resort.

One of the best parts about camping Hunstanton beach is the amount of space available to set up your tent. There's lots to do in the neighborhood, and you're never far from a beautiful beach or a delightful rural walk. Hunstanton is a fantastic place to go camping, whether you want to relax and enjoy the surroundings or get out and explore.

The beach is one of our visitors' favorite elements of Hunstanton camping. There are two beaches in Hunstanton: the first is called South Beach, and the second is called Old Hunstanton. Both are stunning! Hunstanton has one of the sunniest locations in Norfolk, which makes for spectacular sunsets.

The nearest camping sites Hunstanton is in Heacham, a large but pleasant neighborhood just outside of Hunstanton's beach resort. We have camping places for tents, campervans, trailers, and RVs, as well as a few pre-pitched Bell Tents and Shepherds Huts, for anyone wishing to camp in Hunstanton by the Norfolk coast.

Back to Basics Camping in Hunstanton

The two-acre plot in Hunstanton is approximately three minutes from the shore, putting the beach virtually at your front door! Why not go to the beach late in the afternoon when the tide is out and enjoy the miles of open seabed that stretch as far as the eye can see? When camping in Hunstanton, the neighbouring Heacham beach, which is unspoilt by the main Hunstanton resort, is great for avoiding the vacation crowds and provides lots of space to unwind and enjoy the seashore.

Between our site and the beach is the beginning of a public trail that leads to Snettisham, a small village with a rich history, via magnificent rural countryside. This is an excellent location for exploring the beach and its environs. While enjoying the open views and sea wind, it is also possible to walk back down the seafront from Hunstanton.

Our Hunstanton campsite, one of just a few on Norfolk's west coast, is only a 3-minute walk from the beach, putting us in excellent position to see the sunset in all its stunning deep orange and scarlet magnificence. Camping in Hunstanton with friends and family around your personal campfire or BBQ is a memorable experience to enjoy with your loved ones.
