Cause You Have To

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt like you had to do something even though you didn't want to? Maybe you felt obligated to help a friend, or maybe you felt pressured to meet someone's expectations. If so, then you know the feeling of being forced to do something "cause you have to."

When we're faced with these situations, it can be really difficult to know what to do. On the one hand, we don't want to let people down or disappoint them. On the other hand, we don't want to sacrifice our own happiness or well-being.

So what do we do? Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • It's okay to say no. You don't have to do everything that people ask you to do. If you're not comfortable with something, or if you don't have the time or resources to do it, then it's okay to say no.
  • Set boundaries. Let people know what you're willing to do and what you're not willing to do. This will help to prevent people from taking advantage of you or pressuring you to do things that you don't want to do.
  • Take care of yourself. It's important to put your own needs first. If you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed, make sure to take some time for yourself to relax and recharge.

I know that it can be difficult to stand up for yourself and say no, but it's important to remember that you have the right to set boundaries and to protect your own well-being. Don't let anyone tell you that you have to do something "cause you have to." You are the only one who can decide what's best for you.
