CEE 2024

CEE is a career opportunity fair hosted by the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. It is held every fall and spring and is open to all students in the College of Engineering.
CEE is a great opportunity to network with potential employers, learn about different career paths, and get a head start on your job search. Over 200 companies will be in attendance, representing a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and technology.
In addition to networking, CEE offers a variety of workshops and presentations on topics such as resume writing, interviewing, and salary negotiation. There is also a career fair app that you can use to plan your day and connect with employers.
If you are a student in the College of Engineering, I encourage you to attend CEE. It is a great opportunity to learn about your career options and get a head start on your job search.
Here are some tips for making the most of CEE:
* Do your research before you go. Visit the CEE website to see which companies will be in attendance.
* Dress professionally. First impressions matter!
* Bring multiple copies of your resume. You will be meeting with a lot of employers, so it is important to have plenty of resumes on hand.
* Be prepared to talk about your skills and experience. Employers will be asking you questions about your coursework, projects, and work experience.
* Be confident and enthusiastic. Employers are looking for students who are excited about their careers.
* Follow up after the fair. Send thank-you notes to the employers you met with and connect with them on LinkedIn.
CEE is a great opportunity to take control of your career and find a job that you love. I encourage you to attend and make the most of it.
