Charged with death

Electrocuted while charging phone

Accidentally electrocuted while charging their phone is something everyone might have heard before, but I never expected this could happen to me. But it did.
I was in my room, lying on my bed, scrolling through my phone when I felt a sharp pain in my hand. I looked down and saw that the charger was plugged into the wall, and the metal part of the plug was touching my skin. I quickly pulled the plug out of the wall and dropped my phone, but it was too late. The damage had been done.
I felt a burning sensation in my hand and arm, and I could see that my skin was starting to turn red and blister. I ran to the bathroom and turned on the cold water, holding my hand and arm under the stream until the pain subsided. Then I looked in the mirror and saw that my hand was badly burned. The skin was blistered and peeling, and there was a deep red mark where the plug had touched my skin.
I went to the hospital, where I was treated for my burns. The doctor told me that I was lucky to be alive. He said that if the current had been stronger, it could have damaged my heart or even killed me.
I'm still recovering from my injuries, but I'm grateful to be alive. This accident has taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of being careful when using electricity.
