CJ de Silva passed away unexpectedly at the age of 43

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of CJ de Silva, a beloved husband, father, and friend. CJ passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 15, 2023, at the age of 43.

CJ was a kind and gentle soul who always put others before himself. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Amanda, and a loving father to his two young children, Ethan and Ava. CJ was also a loyal friend who was always there for those who needed him.

CJ had a passion for life and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pickup basketball games with his buddies. CJ also loved to travel and explore new places.

CJ's unexpected passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the entire community.

A memorial service for CJ will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown San Jose. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association in CJ's memory.
