Well, what a match that was! I've never seen such a thrilling game of hurling in all my life. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, and the crowd was on their feet for most of the game.

The match was a close one, and either team could have won it. Clare started the stronger of the two teams, and they took an early lead. However, Waterford fought back, and they were level by the break.
