Well, what a match that was! I've never seen such a thrilling game of hurling in all my life. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, and the crowd was on their feet for most of the game.
The match was a close one, and either team could have won it. Clare started the stronger of the two teams, and they took an early lead. However, Waterford fought back, and they were level by the break.
The second half was just as exciting as the first, and the lead changed hands several times. In the end, it was Clare who came out on top, winning by a single point.
The game was a credit to both teams, and it was a great example of the skill and passion that makes hurling such a great sport. I'm already looking forward to the next match between these two great teams.
Here are some of the highlights from the match:
- Clare's Tony Kelly scored a brilliant goal in the first half.
- Waterford's Pauric Mahony scored a stunning point from a free in the second half.
- The crowd was on their feet for most of the game, and they created a fantastic atmosphere.
