Class suspension October 23, 2024

Parents may be wondering, 'what is a class suspension?' This might also be the day all the students have been waiting for, however, this announcement of class suspension does come from some serious business.

On October 23, 2024, classes in all levels in Luzon are suspended due to Tropical Storm Kristine. This is to ensure the safety of the students as the storm is expected to bring heavy rains and strong winds.

The suspension of classes is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the students. It is important to note that this is not a cancellation of classes, but rather a postponement. Classes will resume as soon as the weather condition improves.

  • For updates on the weather condition, please visit the PAGASA website.
  • Stay safe and stay informed.

The decision to suspend classes was made by the local government units in consultation with the Department of Education. The LGUs will continue to monitor the weather condition and will issue further announcements as necessary.

If you have any questions, please contact your child's school or the Department of Education.

Please be reminded to stay safe and to take all necessary precautions during the storm.
