Clementi murder: Man charged with killing neighbour
On Monday, October 21, 2024, a man was found unconscious at the void deck of Block 311B Clementi Avenue 4. The man, 41, who lived on the 15th floor flat at Block 311B, was taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The police arrested a 50-year-old man at the scene. He has been charged with murder and will appear in court on Wednesday, October 23.
The victim's wife told reporters that her husband had gone out to buy dinner when he was attacked. She said that she had heard a commotion outside their flat and when she opened the door, she saw her husband lying on the floor.
The victim's neighbours told reporters that they had heard a loud argument coming from the victim's flat earlier that evening. They said that they had heard the victim shouting at someone to leave his flat.
The police are investigating the incident.
