Coca-Cola recalls drinks

The Coca-Cola Company has announced a voluntary recall of some of its products after mold was found in some bottles. The recall affects 12-ounce glass bottles of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta, and Sprite with expiration dates of April 1 and April 2.

The company says the mold was found during a routine inspection. It has not been linked to any illnesses, but the company is recalling the products out of an abundance of caution.

Consumers who have purchased the affected products are being asked to return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.

The recall is a reminder of the importance of food safety. Even though the mold in this case was not linked to any illnesses, it is important to be aware of the potential risks.

Here are some tips for food safety:

  • Wash your hands thoroughly before handling food.
  • Cook food to the proper temperature.
  • Store food properly.
  • Avoid cross-contamination.

By following these tips, you can help reduce your risk of foodborne illness.

If you have any questions about the Coca-Cola recall, you can contact the company at 1-800-231-1702.
