Colleague
I once had a colleague named Dave. Dave was the kind of guy who always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He was also the kind of guy who was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter how busy he was.
One day, I was working on a project that was giving me a lot of trouble. I had been working on it for hours, and I was starting to get frustrated. Dave came over to my desk and asked me if I needed any help. I was hesitant at first, but I finally agreed.
Dave took one look at my project and started to laugh. "Oh, this is easy," he said. "I can have this done in no time."
And he did. Dave worked on my project for about an hour, and he had it finished in no time. I was so grateful for his help, and I told him so.
"No problem," he said. "I'm always happy to help."
Dave was more than just a colleague to me. He was a friend. He was someone I could always count on, no matter what.
I'm not sure what I would have done without Dave that day. He saved me from a lot of stress and frustration. I'm so grateful for his friendship.
Dave is a reminder that there are still good people in the world. He is a reminder that even in the most difficult times, there is always someone who is willing to help.
Thank you, Dave.
