Colorado vs. NDSU: The Ultimate Rivalry

College football rivalries are the lifeblood of the sport, and there are few rivalries as heated as the one between the Colorado Buffaloes and the North Dakota State Bison. These two teams have been battling it out for decades, and their games are always filled with passion, intensity, and drama.
I've been lucky enough to attend several Colorado-NDSU games, and I can tell you firsthand that the atmosphere is electric. The fans are passionate about their teams, and they let their voices be heard. The games are always competitive, and there's always a chance for an upset.
One of the things that makes this rivalry so great is the fact that the two teams are so different. Colorado is a Power Five school, while NDSU is an FCS school. This means that Colorado has a much bigger budget and more resources than NDSU. However, NDSU has proven time and time again that they can compete with the big boys.
In recent years, NDSU has had the upper hand in the rivalry. The Bison have won the last five meetings, including a 28-20 victory in 2022. However, Colorado is hoping to turn things around this year. The Buffaloes have a new head coach in Deion Sanders, and they're hoping to make a statement against NDSU.
The 2023 Colorado-NDSU game is scheduled for September 16th in Boulder, Colorado. It's sure to be another classic, and I can't wait to see what happens.
Here are a few of my favorite memories from Colorado-NDSU games:
  • 1990: Colorado beat NDSU 44-21 in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. It was a great day to be a Colorado fan.
  • 2006: NDSU upset Colorado 22-17 in Boulder. It was a huge win for the Bison, and it showed that they could compete with the big boys.
  • 2014: Colorado beat NDSU 35-21 in the Fargodome. It was a great win for the Buffaloes, and it helped them earn a bowl berth.
I'm sure there will be many more great moments in the Colorado-NDSU rivalry in the years to come. It's a rivalry that is sure to continue to entertain for many years to come.
So, who do you think will win the next Colorado-NDSU game?
