Covid symptoms flirt

Covid and I have been playing a game of cat and mouse for the past few weeks. It all started with a tickle in my throat. I ignored it, thinking it was just allergies. But then the tickle turned into a cough, and the cough turned into a fever.
I finally gave in and took a Covid test. Lo and behold, it was positive. I was devastated. I had been so careful, but I had still managed to catch the virus.
The next few days were a blur of fever dreams and body aches. I felt like I had been hit by a truck. But even though I was sick, I couldn't help but notice how the virus seemed to be flirting with me.
At one point, I woke up in the middle of the night with a burning sensation in my chest. I thought I was having a heart attack, but it turned out to be just a symptom of Covid. The virus was playing with me, teasing me, trying to scare me.
But I wasn't going to let it win. I fought back with all my might. I took my medicine, I rested, and I drank plenty of fluids. And slowly but surely, I started to get better.
The fever finally broke, and the cough subsided. I was still weak, but I was on the mend. And as I got better, I couldn't help but feel a strange sense of gratitude towards the virus.
Yes, Covid had made me sick. But it had also taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of perseverance. It had shown me that even when I'm at my weakest, I can still overcome anything.
So thank you, Covid. For flirting with me, for challenging me, and for ultimately making me stronger.
