A reflection on the Carousal Workshop at VC Cape Town

The workshop was very interesting and well presented.  I look forward to using some of the tools which were demonstrated.  I am sure that the students will appreciate the fresh approach to teaching and learning.

What I found most encouraging was the fact that there are websites and interactive tools available which do not require me to use facebook.  I value my privacy and do not wish to have to respond to requests to be a student's friend, nor do I have to live with the guilt of rejecting such a request.

I shall certainly make use of the podcast programme, as well as the online document storage facilities of the Google site.  I often get e-mailed queries from students.  I will now be in a position to share the response with all students in the class without having to send an e-mail to everyone in the class.
