I was swimming in the lagoon when I saw it. A large, dark shape in the water. It was a crocodile. I froze in fear as it slowly approached me. I knew that I had to get out of the water, but I was too scared to move. The crocodile was getting closer and closer. I could see its sharp teeth and its cold, black eyes. I knew that if it attacked me, I would be dead.
Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me. "Get out of the water!" I turned and saw a man running towards me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the lagoon. I looked back and saw the crocodile swimming away. I was safe.
I thanked the man for saving my life. He told me that he had seen the crocodile earlier and had been watching me. He knew that I was in danger and he had come to help me. I was so grateful to him.
I learned a valuable lesson that day. I learned that it is important to be aware of your surroundings when you are swimming in the wild. I also learned that there are people who are willing to help you when you are in danger.
I am so grateful to the man who saved my life. He is a hero.
I will never forget that day. It was a day that changed my life.
