Casting CS:GO Predictions For BLAST Premiere 2020

This season’s BLAST Pro Series in nearly over. We now follow the journey of the remaining CS:GO teams standing at the Blast Pro Series: Copenhagen and the upcoming Global Finals. But while we’re still waiting for our grand winner, BLAST revealed its plans for 2020—including the next set of tournaments, prize pools, and new formats. With that, we know that you’re more than ready to make accurate CS:GO predictions.

BLAST Pro Series CEO, Robbie Douek, led the announcement. He emphasized that the organization has finally found the perfect tournament format: “The next evolution of our tournament series is going to blow people away. We have spent months developing the right format. A format that will create the greatest entertainment product for fans at events and viewers watching across the world. We believe we have perfected that format. We will finish the year with a surge of excitement as we crown the 2019 BLAST Pro Series Champion. And we look forward to creating something incredible in esports with BLAST Premier in 2020.”

BLAST 2020 Tournaments

This new setup, according to BLAST, will address some of the issues from the previous CS:GO major tournaments. If one can remember, organizers accepted feedback across the CS:GO global community through show surveys. Now, they’re applying all the submissions and suggestions. This can make your CS:GO 2020 predictions more exciting!

The 2020 tournament will leave the ‘BLAST Pro Series’ title behind to use ‘BLAST Premiere’. For the main changes, BLAST will introduce a series of weekly play leading up to Spring and Fall Finals, an eight-team Global Final tournament, and a total of $4,250,000 prize pool.

Both the Spring and Fall seasons will initially feature three weeks of play to determine the deserving participants of the circuit. We’ll be expecting 12 teams competing in three groups, similar to the ESL Pro League format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the seasonal finals, while the two teams below the ranks still have to secure their slots through the "showdown".

The two seasons will feature a $1,375,000 prize pool each. The winner of each season will take home the lion's share amounting to $500,000. All in all, the eight best teams who competed throughout the season will qualify for the Global Finals where a $1,000,000 prize pool will be reserved for the winner. So, come December 2019, you must have your CS:GO predictions.
