Dakota Joshua shares his testicular cancer journey

Dakota Joshua, a forward for the Vancouver Canucks, recently revealed that he had been diagnosed with testicular cancer. In a statement released by the team, Joshua said that he found a lump on one of his testicles this summer and, after examination by doctors, it was diagnosed as a cancerous tumor.

Joshua underwent surgery to remove the tumor and is now recovering. He is expected to miss the start of training camp, but is hopeful to be back on the ice soon.

In his statement, Joshua said that he wanted to share his story to raise awareness about testicular cancer and to encourage men to get checked.

"I encourage men to get checked," Joshua said. "It's a quick and easy process, and it could save your life."
