Daly Cherry-Evans
Daly Cherry-Evans is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a halfback for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL and the Australia national team. He has represented Queensland in State of Origin since 2013 and has played for the Prime Minister's XIII.
Cherry-Evans was born in Redcliffe, Queensland, and played his junior rugby league for the Redcliffe Dolphins. He made his NRL debut for the Sea Eagles in 2011 and quickly established himself as one of the best halfbacks in the competition. He has won two NRL Premierships with the Sea Eagles, in 2011 and 2013, and has been named in the NRL Team of the Year on four occasions.
Cherry-Evans made his State of Origin debut for Queensland in 2013 and has been a regular member of the Maroons team since then. He has played in four State of Origin series wins and was named man of the match in the deciding game of the 2017 series.
Cherry-Evans made his international debut for Australia in 2014 and has played in three Test matches for the Kangaroos. He was a member of the Australian squad that won the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
