Defer

Defer. The word just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? It's such a simple word, yet it can have such a profound impact on our lives.

We all have things that we need to do, but sometimes we just don’t feel like doing them. Perhaps we feel too tired, too lazy, or just not in the mood. And that’s okay. Sometimes it's okay to put things off until later. But there comes a time when we need to stop deferring and start doing.

I know this firsthand. I’m a notorious deferrer. I always have been. But I’m learning to change my ways. I’m learning to stop putting things off and start taking action. And it’s not easy, but it’s worth it.

Deferring can be a tempting choice, but it's always a short-sighted one. When we defer, we're only making things harder for ourselves in the long run. We're letting our to-do lists grow longer and our goals seem more daunting. And we're missing out on all the amazing things that could happen if we just took the plunge and started working towards them.

So if you're like me and you're tired of deferring, let’s make a change together. Let’s start taking action and making things happen. Let’s stop putting things off and start living our lives to the fullest.

  • What are some things that you've been deferring?
  • What are the consequences of deferring these things?
  • What are some tips for overcoming procrastination?
  • What are the benefits of taking action?

I believe in you. We can do this. Let’s get started.

Call to Action

I challenge you to take action on one thing that you've been deferring. It doesn't have to be a big thing. It could be something small, like making a phone call or sending an email. Just do one thing that you've been putting off. And see how it feels. I bet you'll feel a sense of accomplishment and pride. And who knows? It might just be the start of something great.
