Delhi Election 2025 Date

The Election Commission of India has announced 5th February 2025 as the date for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
The results will be declared on 8th February 2025.
The Election Commission has also announced that the Model Code of Conduct has come into effect immediately.
The Delhi Assembly has 70 constituencies, 12 of them reserved for Scheduled Castes. The current term of the Assembly will end on 22nd February 2025.
In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won a landslide victory, winning 62 of the 70 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 8 seats, while the Congress party failed to win any seats.
The AAP is expected to face a tough challenge from the BJP in the 2025 elections. The BJP has been making significant gains in Delhi in recent years, and is seen as the main challenger to the AAP.
