Dhanush Nayanthara: Inside the Waning Love

In the glittering world of Tamil cinema, the love story of Dhanush and Nayanthara was once a fairytale. They met on the sets of their movie "Yaaradi Nee Mohini" in 2008 and their on-screen chemistry soon turned into a real-life romance. They eventually got married in a grand ceremony in 2011.
For a while, everything seemed blissful. They were the power couple of Kollywood, starring in hit movies and gracing magazine covers together. But cracks began to show in their relationship in recent years. Rumors of marital discord started circulating in 2021, and by 2022, it was clear that their marriage was on the rocks.
There were several factors that contributed to their split. One was Dhanush's growing closeness to his co-star Keerthy Suresh. The two were spotted getting cozy on the sets of their movie "Vaathi" in 2022, and rumors of an affair began to spread like wildfire.
Another factor was Nayanthara's decision to focus on her career. She had always been a talented actress, but in recent years, she had taken on more challenging roles and was determined to make a mark for herself. This led to her spending more and more time away from home, which put a strain on her relationship with Dhanush.
The final nail in the coffin came when Dhanush filed a lawsuit against Nayanthara for using a clip from their movie "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan" in her documentary without his permission. Nayanthara was furious and accused Dhanush of trying to sabotage her career. She hit back with a strongly-worded open letter, slamming him for his "vile" behavior.
The once-fairytale marriage was now over. Dhanush and Nayanthara filed for divorce in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. It was a sad end to a relationship that had once been the envy of the Tamil film industry.
