Diann De Hija was the Best of the Worst




Diann De Hija told a joke at her eighth grade graduation. It was not funny. In fact, it was so not funny that the audience gasped. But Diann didn't care. She had always been the class clown, and she was determined to go out with a bang.

Diann's joke was about her math teacher, Mr. Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a strict disciplinarian who had a reputation for being mean. Diann's joke was about how Mr. Thompson was so mean that he made her cry.

The audience gasped because they could not believe that Diann would say such a thing about a teacher. But Diann didn't care. She thought her joke was hilarious, and she was proud of herself for having the guts to tell it.
