Did Kerrissa Beattie Get the Best Surprise Ever?

Kerrissa Beattie woke up one sunny morning with a big smile on her face. She couldn't wait for what the day would bring! As she was getting ready for school, her mom called her downstairs.

"Kerrissa Beattie, come down here at once!" her mom said excitedly.

Kerrissa skipped down the stairs and found her mom waiting at the bottom with a huge box. "This is for you, honey," her mom said.

Kerrissa tore open the box and gasped. Inside was a beautiful new puppy! Kerrissa couldn't believe her eyes. She had always wanted a dog, and now her dream had come true!

Kerrissa named her new puppy Sparky, and they quickly became best friends. They went on walks in the park, played fetch in the backyard, and cuddled up on the couch together.

One day, Kerrissa and Sparky were playing in the park when they saw a group of children playing with a soccer ball. Kerrissa and Sparky joined in the fun, and soon they were running around the field, kicking the ball back and forth.

As they were playing, Kerrissa noticed a little boy sitting on the sidelines, all alone. He looked sad, so Kerrissa went over to ask what was wrong.

"I'm Billy," the little boy said. "I don't have anyone to play with."

Kerrissa smiled and said, "That's okay, Billy. You can play with me and Sparky!"

Billy joined in the game, and soon he was laughing and having a great time. Kerrissa and Sparky were glad they could make a new friend.

As the sun started to set, it was time for Kerrissa and Sparky to go home. Billy waved goodbye and said, "Thank you for playing with me, Kerrissa Beattie and Sparky!"

Kerrissa and Sparky walked home, tired but happy. Kerrissa knew that she had made a new friend that day, and that Sparky had made a new best friend too.

As they walked up the stairs to their house, Kerrissa thought about how lucky she was. She had the best mom in the world, the best dog in the world, and now she had the best friend in the world.
