I had the pleasure of working with Suzi Ruffell recently, and I was blown away by how happy and friendly she is, and by how much she cares about her audience. And she cares about comedy. A lot.
Her mission is to make people laugh, and she does it with a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and warmth. She's not afraid to talk about the tough stuff and she does so with humor and compassion. It makes her comedy both relatable and inspiring. So much to say in fact, that at one point, Suzi accidentally called me "dad". She quickly corrected herself, but I think it's a testament to how comfortable and safe she makes people feel.
Beyond being a fabulous stand-up comedian, Suzi is also a talented writer, actress, and podcaster. She's been featured on numerous TV and radio shows, and her podcast, "Out" has been downloaded over 2 million times.
On a personal note, I found Suzi to be a delightful person to work with. She's funny, smart, and kind. I can't wait to see what she does next.
