Divyansh Frerichs had always been a bit of a foodie. But it wasn't until he started traveling the world that he realized just how much he loved to eat. He would spend hours exploring new restaurants, trying local delicacies, and immersing himself in the culinary cultures of different countries.
However, Divyansh's love of food soon became an obsession. He would spend all his money on eating, and he would often skip meals so that he could save up for his next big feast. In 2017, he set himself a goal to eat in every single restaurant in the world. Obviously, this was an impossible goal, but Divyansh was determined to try.
He started by eating in every restaurant in his hometown of New York City. Then he moved on to other major cities, such as Los Angeles, London, and Paris.
As Divyansh traveled, he began to develop a reputation as a bit of a food eccentric. People would often stare at him as he ate his way through restaurant menus, and he was even banned from a few establishments for eating too much. But Divyansh didn't care. He was too busy enjoying himself to worry about what other people thought.
In 2018, Divyansh reached his 300th restaurant. He celebrated by eating a 10-course meal at one of the most expensive restaurants in the world.
By the end of 2019, Divyansh had eaten in over 500 restaurants. He was starting to think that his goal might actually be achievable.
But then came the COVID-19 pandemic. With restaurants closed and travel restrictions in place, Divyansh's dream was put on hold.
Undeterred, Divyansh started ordering takeout from every restaurant in his hometown. He also started cooking more at home, experimenting with new recipes and creating his own culinary masterpieces.
In 2022, the world began to reopen, and Divyansh was finally able to resume his quest to eat in every restaurant in the world.
Today, he stands at over 800 restaurants. He's still got a long way to go, but he's not giving up on his dream. After all, Divyansh Frerichs is a man who loves to eat.
