Do You Feel Like a Number?




I've always felt like a number. Not in a good way, like when you're the first in line for a rollercoaster. More like in a bad way, like when you're stuck in a queue at the DMV.

But recently, I've been feeling like more than a number. I've been feeling like a person. A person with a name, a voice, and a story to tell.

It started when I joined a new community group. At first, I was just another face in the crowd. But over time, I started to get to know the other members. I learned about their lives, their hopes, and their dreams. And they learned about mine.

I realized that I wasn't just a number to them. I was a friend. A neighbor. A fellow human being.

It's not always easy to feel like a person in today's world. We're constantly bombarded with messages telling us that we're not good enough. That we're not thin enough, or smart enough, or rich enough.

But it's important to remember that we're all unique and valuable. We all have something to offer the world. And we all deserve to be treated with respect.
